Balinese massage was developed in the Indonesian province of Bali, with influence from the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia.

Balinese massage techniques include acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, and application of essential oil / aromatherapy. The combination of manual therapy and aromatherapy is intended for relaxation, loosening fascial restrictions, and stimulating the lymphatic system and the flow of blood and qi (energy).

Balinese massage is a full-body, holistic treatment which is you can choose the level of pressure either soft to medium one (relaxing) or more powerful one / hard pressure (deep tissue). Traditional Balinese massage uses a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure, reflexology, and aromatherapy to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and “qi” (energy) around your body, and bring a sense of wellbeing, calm and deep relaxation. Balinese massage uses a variety of techniques including skin rolling, kneading and stroking, and pressure-point stimulation, combined with the aromas of essential oils.

Balinese massage is a good treatment to choose if you want to experience a variety of massage techniques, need some help to relax, or if you’re feeling a bit low. A relaxation massage with attitude, this treatment will help you feel calm, but it will boost your circulation and target knotted tissue to address physical issues as well.

We also do sports massage, therapeutic massage, pregnancy massage, foot reflexology, and kerokan (body scrape).

Balinese Relaxing and Swedish Relaxing are soft to medium pressure.

If you wish for more pressure, specific pressure point, or other needs you should choose either Deep Tissue, Sports, or Therapeutic.

Please take at least the 1 hr session to enjoy the full body treatment.

Choose wisely or talk to us if you are not sure what kind of massage that you need.

Our team has more than 9 years experience in this field, we promise to do our best. We also use non – allergic massage oil (rice based) and non – allergic aromatherapy that imported directly from Bali. Our choices of aromatherapy are lemongrass, jasmine, green tea, and lavender.

Swedish Massage

This type of massage involves actions like kneading, vibration, tapping and rolling. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction.

Swedish massage a great way to relax and unwind. A massage involves manipulating the muscles and joints to relieve stress or pain. This is achieved by relaxing tight muscles and promoting blood circulation.

Getting a Swedish massage can also be beneficial to your heart. A masseuse (a person that practices massage) manipulates the body’s soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels) and uses strokes that flow toward the heart, improving blood circulation.

Swedish massage may help reduce symptoms of depression, stress, and anxiety. Some of the symptoms that could be managed by massage therapy include back pains, headaches, muscle issues and other chronic pains.

Massages are also associated with boosting immunity. This can help you in managing conditions like the common cold, asthma, diabetes, and breast cancer.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massages are used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions(the “knots” that we feel in our muscles are muscle adhesions, which are bands of rigid and painful muscle tissue). These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.

We use more pressure at the body point that need to be healed.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem—such as a frozen shoulder. People tend to assume therapeutic massage means deep tissue massage, and that they will get a very strong massage.

Sports Massage

Sports massage incorporates a hands-on approach combined with a sound knowledge of sport related movement patterns, fatigues, and injuries.

Pregnancy Massage

The therapist will avoid deep tissue massage here and instead use light, relaxing and long strokes which help circulation. If you would like your masseuse to massage your pregnant belly, this is possible, but it will again be gentle, using long strokes, designed to make you feel comfortable, womanly and at ease.

As a general rule of thumb, prenatal massage can benefit you throughout your pregnancy with monthly appointments until around 27 weeks, then twice monthly appointments from around 27 weeks to 36 weeks, and weekly appointments from 36 weeks until you give birth.

Foot Reflexology

In reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body. The treatment is said to induce a healing response, even alleviating some ailments.

Reflexology is one of the most popular types of massage. Beyond the feel-good effects of the treatment, the practice and purpose go deeper than the skin and muscles. Kneading the soft fleshy ball of the foot, pulling on the toes, tracing around the heel and pushing deep into the arch are just a few of the movements you’ll experience during a treatment.

Couple Massage or 2 people at the same time is available every Thursday and Public Holiday. Please book your reservation first.
